WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY on 5th June

Every year, World Environment Day is celebrated on June 5, and focuses on a specific theme. This year’s theme is sustainable lifestyles, and the slogan is ‘Seven Billion Dreams. One plant. Consume with Care.” Plants are the precious gift of nature to human beings. They are valuable and renewable resources. Plants play a vital role in the life of men on earth. It provides the greenery and lend aesthetic beauty and above all it is the oxygen bank for our survival. We should learn to maintain a symbiotic relationship with plants. With the objective to sensitize the students on the urgent need to converse the environment, our school planned free tree sapling distribution by Assistant Commissioner of Police, Ambattur at O.T Bus Terminus.
